Directions to the Kaserill Alm mountain hut

The hike to the Kaserill Alm mountain hut starts at the car park Zannes in the farthest Funes valley.

Following the path number 33 in the direction of the Kaserill Alm mountain hut, the wide hiking trail first leads through a sparse forest, which now and then offers dreamy views of the nearby Geisler peaks and the cross-adorned Zendleser Kofel.

At the lively rippling Kaserill brook it finally joins trail no. 32. Now the cozy Kaserill Alm mountain hut is not far away, where hikers are spoiled with delicious hut dishes from the beginning of June to mid-October (2020). While the adults sit back comfortably on the panoramic terrace or on the sun loungers and enjoy the unique atmosphere with a view of the Funes Geisler peaks, the children can also let off steam on the hut's own playground or pay a visit to the alpine animals.

The way back from Kaserill Alm mountain hut is the same as on the way there. If you wish, you can also extend the hike and, for example, climb up to the Zendleser Kofel with its magnificent views.
