Knuttenalm mountain hut tobogganing

Route description Knuttenalm mountain hut

The winter hike to the Knuttenalm mountain hut starts from the large parking lot for hikers at the entrance to the Val dei Dossi valley. It is located just under 2 km behind the church of the tranquil mountain village of Riva di Tures.

Following the signpost no. 9 in the direction of the Knuttenalm mountain hut, the hiking trail, which is partly gently ascending and partly level, leads through the enchanting Val dei Dossi valley framed by snow-covered mountains. A constant companion on the way is the cheerfully babbling Rio dei Dossi creek, partly hidden under a blanket of snow.

After a good hour you reach the idyllically situated Knuttenalm mountain hut. In the cozy guest room and on the inviting sun terrace, the hut hosts prepare enjoyable moments for their guests in a homey ambience, especially in winter.
